ArcGIS Maps for Power BI now available in Preview in the Power BI service

At Microsoft Ignite, we announced the first preview of ArcGIS Maps for Power BI and released the Power BI Desktop allowing report authors to start using GIS within Power BI.

Now we’re happy to announce the next step in bringing ArcGIS Map for Power BI to users by enabling the visualization in the Power BI service.

You can also publish your Power BI Desktop files containing the ArcGIS Maps visual and share them within your organization through the Power BI service.

ArcGIS Maps for Power BI will be coming to the Power BI mobile applications next. We’re excited to see all your interest in ArcGIS Maps for Power BI. Keep the feedback coming!
