For our Back to School contest this year, we had so many amazing entries, showcasing creativity, design expertise, advanced Power BI skills, and of course a genuine love for education! With the help of both teachers and several members of the Power BI Product Team, have narrowed down the winners!
Last month, Power BI partnered with Hacking STEM and NASA to create an interactive, educational data story to teach students about radiation. Educators loved the idea of bringing Power BI data stories to the classroom, and they are looking for more! So, this month we are launching a “Back to School” Contest to engage and empower students with Power BI! The contest will run from August 1st to September 6th, and the winners will be featured in the Power BI Blog! Channel your love for education and get started today!
This month we are incredibly excited to announce that the new filter experience is now generally available. We have updated the look and feel and added a ton of new functionality. The new capabilities include a new filter view to see what filters are applied to a visual, the ability to format or theme the filter experience, hide or lock filter cards, sort the filter cards, rename filter cards, and control the visibility and state of the filter pane in bookmarks.
