There are many ways to extend the number of visuals we can use in Power BI. This session is an overview of different approaches which exist to extend the capability of using visuals in Power BI.

The main focus of this session will be on using R, JSON scripts, and Charticulator to create custom visuals.  See how to create a custom visual or visual using R script and JSON. Learn how to create a simple chart using Charticulator without having to write any lines of code using the Charticulator website.

Leila has a Ph.D. of Information Systems from the University of Auckland, New Zealand and is a lecturer of business intelligence and machine learning courses, mentor and trainer.

With over 10 years experience as a BI consultant, Leila has implemented large scale projects, working with SQL server within the banking and finance, power and utilities and manufacturing industries.

Leila has been a popular speaker at Microsoft Ignite USA and New Zealand, as well as at the Microsoft Data Insights summit, SQL PASS, SQL PASS BA, Difinity, SQL Rally.
