Announcing General Availability of Power BI publisher for Excel

Released as preview in January, Power BI publisher for Excel enables you to take snapshots of important PivotTables, Charts, cell ranges, and more from across all of your spreadsheets to a dashboard, then share the dashboard with your colleagues.

Today, we’re happy to announce the general availability of the Power BI publisher for Excel.

Go ahead and download the newest version:

Here is what we’ve added for this release.

 

Support for 42 languages

Install and use in your preferred locale.

Download from the list of available languages.

 

Pin to a group dashboard

We heard your feedback, and added the most requested ask: Pin to a dashboard in a group workspace.

From the Power BI tab in the ribbon, select the workspace you wish to pin to, then click “Pin”.

Pin from the right-click context menu

Pinning is now even easier! Select the range or object you want to pin, right-click, and select “Pin to Power BI dashboard…”
