Power BI Premium per user now generally available for purchase

After four months in public preview, we’re pleased to announce that the ability to purchase Power BI Premium on a per user basis is now generally available.  Built on the new Premium Gen 2 infrastructure, Power BI Premium per users offers customers access to all the latest Premium features, including Paginated Reports, Deployment Pipelines, Automated Machine Learning, Large Data Model support, and much more.

The cost of the per user license, as first announced at Ignite in March, is either $20/user/month for a standalone license, or $10/user/month for users with an existing E5 or Pro license assigned.

For Power BI Pro users who are currently using an in-product trial to try Premium per user, you may continue using the trial through the remaining number of days  left in your trial period.  After this time, you will no longer be able to extend the trial and will need to convert to a paid Premium per user license to continue using the functionality.

To learn more about Premium per user, please review the online documentation and the Power BI pricing page.
