We are excited to announce that connected PivotTable refresh in Excel for the web is now 100% available to all Office tenants. This feature is part of a broader investment to enable seamless and secure data sharing and collaboration with Power BI data in Excel for the web.
If you missed the initial availability announcement, connected PivotTable refresh in Excel for the web allows users to work with PivotTables connected to Power BI in a web browser just like in Excel desktop. With the Microsoft Information Protection (MIP) label integration, you can control sharing while keeping your data secure in Excel as an MIP label applied to a Power BI dataset is inherited in Excel.
